Richard Haley is an artist, occasional writer and curator living in the San Francisco Bay Area. His work is tied to concepts defining self and being; or more specifically, what does one do when they are not sleeping or practicing breathing? His work takes the form of sculpture, video, and photography. It takes elusive ideas, bordering on the metaphysical and transcendental and pushes and perverts them into corporeal terms.
